Jamie Weber

Jamie is a South Dakota native who graduated magna cum laude with Bachelor of Science majors in Criminal Justice and Political Science in 2005. She went on to the University of Iowa where she graduated with distinction with her law degree in 2008. She also completed her joint degree and earned a Masters of Health Administration in May 2009.

While at the University of Iowa, Jamie honed her research and writing skills through her participation as a student writer for the Iowa Law Review. She was honored to have the editorial board select her note for publication. She was also selected as one of the top third in her class for a moot court competition based on her written and oral argument.

After law school, Jamie returned to South Dakota and joined the firm of Piersol and Billion in 2009. She began personally working cases and gained valuable experience in court right out of the gate. Within her first year of practice, she had co-chaired a complex week-long divorce trial.

Jamie now has over 14 years of experience under her belt, and practices in a variety of areas of the law, including family law, divorce, separation, child custody, parenting time, visitation, child support, adoption, abuse and neglect, paternity, criminal defense, personal injury, and appeals. Jamie is licensed to practice in both state and federal courts in South Dakota.

Jamie and her husband, Derrick, are the proud parents of one girl, one boy, and one Vizsla.
