Meet Ginny Wright, Ph.D., Clinical Psychologist and Certified Discernment Counselor
One of the hardest life decisions is: Should we get divorced or try to save our marriage? So many couples go back and forth for months, sometimes even years trying to make the right decision. Well, guess what? Did you know that there’s a process called Discernment Counseling, that is dedicated to helping you and your spouse make that decision?
Discernment counseling isn’t new, but it’s gained a lot of popularity recently. It’s a process for couples on the brink of divorce. The process is not marriage counseling and it’s not a long process. Discernment counseling is 1-5 sessions, where a couple works with the counselor to figure out the best road forward: get divorced, stay and work on the marriage, or take a break and decide later.
If this interests you, I would highly recommend my newest Divorced Girl Smiling trusted professional, Ginny Wright, Ph.D., who is a therapist and a certified discernment counselor. Welcome, Ginny!
Sincerely,
Jackie Pilossoph, Founder, Divorced Girl Smiling
