GARRY MARSHALL INSPIRED AUDIENCES IN LOVE AND ROMANCE
Chicago Tribune Media Group

By Jackie Pilossoph, July 27, 2016

When I was a fifth-grader, there was no one I envied more than Pinky Tuscadero. After all, Pinky was the Fonz's girlfriend! What I didn't know back then was that Pinky and Fonz's romance in Garry Marshall's unforgettable '70s sitcom, "Happy Days," was just a glimpse of what the brilliant writer, director, actor and producer had in store for TV and movie audiences over the next five decades.

Marshall, who died recently at the age of 81, seemed to have a deep love for tenderness, romance, humor and happy endings (with the exception of his movie, "Beaches," that had me crying for an hour) and it showed in all of his work.

RESPOND TO ACTS OF HATE WITH LOVE
Chicago Tribune Media Group

By Jackie Pilossoph, July 13, 2016

SEX - WHAT HE WANTS AND WHAT SHE'S THINKING
Chicago Tribune Media Group

By Jackie Pilossoph, July 6, 2016

A man sees a beautiful woman walking down the street, and his mind automatically thinks about what it would be like to sleep with her. On the contrary, a woman sees that same beautiful woman, and she wonders what color her lipstick is and where she got her cute handbag.

While not the case with all men and women, this example illustrates the male gender's spontaneous desire for sex, and the frequency of his sexual thoughts, according to Suzy Olds. Olds is the founder of her relationship wellness company, After Nine Tonight, which offers tasteful, implied sexual content videos to help monogamous couples reignite the spark in their relationships.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL THE HOT MOMS OUT THERE
Chicago Tribune Media Group

By Jackie Pilossoph, May 4, 2016

I grew up with one of those really attractive moms, the kind where you bring your boyfriend home and his jaw drops when he sees her for the first time, leaving you standing there feeling like an ugly duckling. I'm not lying, just ask my two sisters. They feel the same way.

So when I became a mom, I had an appreciation for the effort I think my mom made (and still does) to be a caring, nurturing and loving mother of four, while at the same time being her own person by taking care of herself and enjoying a life that included things besides her kids.
